The Cherokee Lodge is located one block from downtown Coronado, near numerous, charming bistros and restaurants, and just four blocks from the beach and the historic Hotel Del Coronado. Guests are welcome to enjoy the front patio which overlooks the rose gardens or lounge in the sitting room. Laundry facilities, a microwave, and an ice machine are available for all guests to use. The lodge also provides business services during office hours. The lodge is also close to public transportation.
Each room has a desk, wireless high speed Internet access, cable/satellite TV with VCR, free local calls, refrigerator, and coffeemaker with coffee and tea provided. The rooms also have an alarm clock radio, ceiling fan, and smoke detectors. Hair dryers, irons, and beach towels available upon request.

San Diego is an outdoor paradise offering a variety of activities for all ages such as biking, golfing, boating, fishing, kayaking, surfing, and windsurfing. The famous San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, and Sea World are just minutes away from the Island. The historic Balboa Park is home to the many museums. Tour Old Town for a glimpse of how San Diego started in the 1800's. More fine dining and theaters are just a ferry ride away to the Gaslamp district San Diego. |

Driving Directions
964 D Avenue, Coronado, Calif.
From San Diego Airport:
Take 5 south to the Sand Diego/Coronado Bay Bridge.
Crossing the bridge, take 3rd Street until the first traffic light which is Orange Avenue.
Turn left onto Orange.
Go to 9th Street and turn right.
Go just a short block to the shop sign which is D Avenue.
Turn left onto D Avenue.
Go down almost to 10th Street.
The lodge is on the right hand side and is the second building from the corner of 10th and D Avenue.
There is big blue/gray condo on the corner and the lodge is just before that. Rose gardens will be in the front. |
