Property Info
Location. The Beach Runner Inn B&B, is located in Long Beach, Calif., just three blocks from the oceanfront in Belmont Heights. Guests can access downtown Long Beach and Belmont Shore via the city shuttle, which stops in Belmont Heights every five to ten minutes for a fee. Within walking distance are several restaurants and coffeehouses, as well as gift shops and antique stores. The Long Beach bike path is three blocks away, and offers miles of paved pathway for recreation.
Hotel Features. Originally built in 1913 as a spacious single-family home, the Beach Runner Inn B&B reflects the characteristics found in Craftsman-style homes of the period. The living room features a fireplace, large wingback chairs, a comfortable couch and a variety of books, magazines and newspapers. A laptop computer with Internet access is provided for guests' use. The Beach Runner Inn's backyard is a fully landscaped retreat with two bubbling fountains, a patio with hot tub, and chairs. Guests are served a complimentary continental breakfast in a sunny breakfast room.
Guestrooms. The guestrooms have been restored to highlight their original Craftsman details, and are furnished with quality beds and furnishings. Cable televisions with VCRs are available in each unit. The standard guestroom is airy and bright with many windows and its own dressing room. The deluxe guestroom is a suite with a king bed, decorated in rich blues. This guestroom has a full bath with shower.
Expert Tip. The Beach Runner Inn offers bicycle rentals to use on the Long Beach bike path.

Merge onto South Sepulveda Boulevard/CA-1 S.
Take the I-105 East/Imperial Highway W ramp toward Imperial Terminal.
Merge onto I-105 E toward Norwalk.
Merge onto I-405 South toward Long Beach.
Take the Cherry Avenue exit toward Signal Hill.
Turn right onto Cherry Avenue, then turn left onto East Broadway.
Take a final left onto Kennebec Ave.
