The Oasis is a peaceful, relaxed and romantic B&B. Guests will enjoy the warmth and hospitality they find there. Get out and try new things. The scenery is great from the highway, but consider a flight in a glider, soaring above the Mayacama Mountains. Hike the mountain, bike the mountain. Touch and feel the great outdoors, listen to the animals, breathe the cleanest air in the State and then end the day with a great meal in a local restaurant. Guests couldn't ask for a more cozy place to enjoy an escape than in their private cottage at the Oasis. Awaken to a delicious breakfast starting with fresh squeezed orange juice. The property is located in the Collayomi Valley on the north slope of Mt. St. Helena, which looms over the northern end of the Napa Valley on its south side. This country is among the most pristine in this area, with much of the original forests remaining and the creeks running clear and clean. Guests can treat themselves to a private cottage in the mountains, away from the crowds. The inn is only ten minutes away from Harbin Hot Springs. They are invited to enjoy the clear skies of the mountains, watching the Milky Way. On weekends, Saturday and Sunday mornings, a country breakfast is served in the dining room of the main house. Breakfast starts with fresh squeezed orange juice and proceeds to main dishes such as French toast, huevos rancheros, pancakes, eggs, frittata, and bacon or sausage Fresh fruits and vegetables from an organic garden are seasonally available at breakfast and for the picking. On weekdays, a delicious continental breakfast is served in your private cottage. Of course, they can accommodate special diets. Whether for romantic or weekend getaways, birthdays, anniversaries, business, or just some private time, guests will love their stay at the inn. Don't forget to book a massage for that special one.
Each cottage is furnished with a king-sized bed with a skylight above. Each has a private bath. There is also a refrigerator and coffeemaker in each. A TV and VCR are in each cottage and you have access to the Inn's extensive video collection. For your comfort there is a gas fireplace, air conditioner and overhead fan. A sliding glass door leads to a private redwood deck from which you look at lawns, gardens, the quail, the Manzanita Grove, the pond, waterfall, and a clear view of Mt. St. Helena. There is a private phone line in each cottage for local calls, calling card calls, and Internet access.

A huge Manzanita grove is home to hundreds of California Quail. The Oasis is located 4 miles from Middletown, where there is fine dining at Boar's Breath Restaurant, gliding at Crazy Creek Soaring, massage and workshops at Harbin Hot Springs, Geothermal Museum and Tours and beer at Mt St Helena Brewery. Several fine antique stores and wineries are within easy driving or bicycling distance. Just 2 miles away is Twin Pines Casino. Over the mountain to Calistoga, just 20 minutes away, brings you to a wide selection of World Class wineries, restaurants and shopping. 24019 Hilderbrand Drive, Middletown, CA - From Sonoma County Airport: Depart airport going east on Airport Boulevard. Merge onto US-101 South toward San Francisco. Take the River Road exit toward Calistoga. Take the ramp toward Mark West Springs Road/Calistoga. Turn left onto River Road, which becomes Mark West Springs Road and continue for about 5.5 miles. West Springs Road becomes Porter Creek Road, and continue for 2.6 miles. Turn slightly right to stay on Porter Creek Road and continue for 2 miles. Turn left onto Petrified Forest Road and continue for 4.6 miles. Turn left onto Foothill Boulevard/CA-128. Turn right onto Tubbs Lane. Turn left onto CA- 29/Calistoga Grade Road/Lake County Highway and continue for 10.9 miles. Turn right onto Hilderbrand Drive and continue until you reach the property. |
