The Inn is conveniently located on a quiet, treelined street of historic homes between N Street and Capitol. Just eight blocks from the State Capitol, Convention Center and downtown. It is also just six blocks from the new East End State of California Offices. There are 35 restaurants in midtown Sacramento. There is literally something for everyone among the numerous restaurants and eateries offering a local flair. Shopping: Arden Fair Mall, within 10 minutes driving time, has been referred to as the ulitmate walk-in closet. This mall has all the major department stores like Macy's, Nordstroms, JC Penny, and Sears as well as 165 speciality shops and a number of eateries. Downtown Plaza, within a 20 minute walk or a five minute drive, is a two-level, sunlit extravaganza of fine shops including Ann Taylor, Guess, Banana Republic and Crabtree and Evelyn. Stroll along the original boardwalks of Historic Old Sacramento, home to 124 shops, restaurants and museums along the waterfront.
The American River Bicycle trails offer 23 miles of scenic trails winding along the American River from Old Sacramento to Folsom. This parkway is unlimited in its recreation, scope-perfect for hiking, strolling, picknicking, fishing and bird-watching. Whitewater rafting along the American River. There are a number of different places to rent rafts and take guided or self-guided trips down the river. |
