The Red Victorian is more than just a historic hotel on world-famous Haight Street near Golden Gate Park. The location of this inn makes it a great base for exploring San Francisco, with major bus lines passing through the neighborhood.<br><br>
With a long and interesting history behind it, the Red Victorian offers a unique lodging experience with 18 individually and creatively designed guest rooms. Guests will find their accommodation infused with the ideology of the 60's still very much alive at this friendly inn. The Peacock Suite honors the winged-creatures of the world. This room features a canopied king bed, divan-beds in the sitting room, stained glass windows, a Persian temple light, an antique electric fireplace and a small corner shrine. The Sunshine Room features a canopied queen bed and is decorated with the colors of sunrise and sunset. The Friends Room is reputed to be the "most friendly room" at this inn, with bay windows looking out over Haight Street. A complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning. |
